My port should 'look' the same to the machine, and as i am also writing my own terminal software to utilize hires graphics to create an 80 column display. My software will also emulate, to some extent, a VT-100 terminal. Because i am doing this from top to bottom, i would like to obtain some alternate terminal software to test the port itself. Anyway, i need to find some terminal software that uses the RS232 Program Pak to talk to the outside world in order to 'test' my port. I have heard about _MikeyTerm_ 3.5, but cannot find it. If anyone has it, or knows where i could find somthing similar, i would REALLY appreciate it. If you have something like this, get in touch with me (see address below) and we can arrange some method of transfer. If you know of a commercial program, let me know whom to contact. Lastly, as i drew my schematics for my port from the schematics in the service manual of the RS232 Prog Pak, i do not think i can give mine to anyone. If/when i ever get my software up and running, i may be willing to distribute it. If you are interested, get in touch. ----- -- Lewis R.
