Is there a command to tell me what type a given file is? I'd like to find out what all the mystery files are that come with the system, but I keep stumbling across binaries and trashing my CLI window. Is there a way to kill the current process, eg. when I just TYPEd some huge binary file? Can I use the workbench:s/startup-sequence file to automatically open things upon booting, like say a CLI window? Thanks, Charles Poirier
