I have a Kaypro 2 (1984 model). The computer emulates an adm3a terminal, and I'm using both MITE and KERMIT software, the latter in both adm3a and vt52 mode. Whenever I open a new file in vi, everything is fine, but when I try to edit an old file, the file is printed at the top of the screen with about half the letters missing. The cursor is at the mid-point of the screen, and cannot be moved into the text. ^L simply rewrites the screen as is. Moving the curso across the screen to the right in fact also rewrites the text at the middle of the screen, and, after doing this, I can edit normally, until the next rewrite. If anyone can help, I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks.
