I also have an HP150, but I guess that I have access to a little more software... There are public domain communication programs available for the 150. I know about Kermit and Xmodem, and I have both. They seem to work well with lots of bulletin boards. I also have another program you might be interested in. It installs the most used IBM interrupt vectors into the 150, so that some IBM programs will then run without modification. Of course, if the program uses graphics or writes directly to screen memory, all bets are off... There are also public domain EMACS editors and program editors, XLISP, etc. available.
