It is not good enough to simply have a system with an imagewriter or laserwriter on it and Project/Draw on another mounted volume. You MUST have a print driver on the same disk since Project/Draw change the page size you see depending on the print drive and whatever you have done during page setup. For laserWriters Draw defaults to a 7.5 x 10 in page, and for imagewriters the defaults is 8 x 10 in. Note that if you go to 50% reduction in imagewriter during page setup or some variable percentage in laserwriter the page size shown on Draw/Project will change. Similary, if you change from landscape to protrait or vice-versa you will see your layout change, that is you first clue of the communication going on. I wish that Draw/Project were smart enough to search the system (i.e. all mounted volumes) but it seems only the application's volume gets searched. I hope this helps; it seemed to cure my problems.
