My advice is that whenever you get ANYTHING from a dealer, be it MAC+, Hyperdrive, ANYTHING that you call the manufacturer first and ask what you should get from the dealer. Then make VERY sure that the dealer provides it. I have had many problems in this regard. Not providing manuals, stickers, spare parts, etc. It would not suprise me at all if the dealer kept your adapter (or would have if it was available) and then would be more than happy to sell you one for the $30. Another example of this is the dealer not testing a Hyper after installation. This saves him lots of time and lets him install more in the same time period thus making more money.
