On my AT&T PC 6300, I ran a short simple test to determine
the effectiveness of using a QD/DS disk in the disk drive.

Here is what happened:

1)  I used a DD/DS disk with several files on it (all non-hidden).
2)  I copied it onto a QD/DS disk with MS-DOS "COPY"
3)  I copied it onto a QD/DS disk with Central Point Software's "Copy-II-PC"

When I added all the numbers up of the files and bytes free on
the disk (using UNIX's "bs"), I made an interesting discovery!

Look!

Something MUST be wrong, because the disks are supposed to have
360K in MS-DOS version 2.11.

All of the disks, by the way, were pre-formatted, one after the
other, and all three were said to contain 362496 bytes.

What's wrong?
