One of the earlier serial cards made by Eagle Computer for their
PC-clones used a Zilog serial chip. I'm not sure if it was the SIO
or the SCC. As might be expected their are a lot of incompatibilities
with using this device. Eagle sort of got around them with the
ROM BIOS.
