Those of us who live in the Village have, of course, seen
Madonna's FIRST film, an 8 mm East Village Next Wave sort
of thing called "A Certain Sacrifice," a vaguely X-rated
basement movie made years before she was anything more than
an aspiring would-be.

Worth seeing (plays midnights at the Eighth Street Playhouse,
just off Sixth Avenue, Tuesday nights) if you're in NYC and
are for whatever reason a fan of hers.
