If you liked "Ghoulies," you'll like "Trolls." The plots are about
the same, although the acting is much worse in "Trolls." (Disclaimer:
I hated "Ghoulies.")

The special effects and ugly monsters are great, if you're into that
sort of thing. I found them the most imaginative part of the movie,
which admittedly is not saying very much. I especially liked the
talking mushroom.

Catch it on a matinee; don't pay full price. And then see it only if
you like ugly monsters.
