Can people please recommend CD recordings of Italian operas
that have both superior performance and sonic qualities?
I am interested in aria recital CD's also which meet these
criteria.

I will be leaving MDS Qantel next week (2/14 is my last day),
so I would appreciate replies before that date.
I don't know whether the company I will be going to is set
up for Usenet.
