I am trying to find a person by the name of David G. Lowe, author of an
article titled "Co-operative structuring of information: the representation
of reasoning and debate".  The article was published in the International
Journal of Man-Machine Studies, V23, pp97-111.  The article has a footnote
indicating that the author's present address is at the Courant Institute of
Mathematical Sciences, which I am told is part of NYU.

If Mr. Lowe is not on the net, could some reader at NYU pass this on to him?
I would like him to reply via e-mail (see below), but if that fails, please
