Co., Inc., Everett, WA Lines: 36 I wanted to share what had happened to me when I was "talked to" by God. I had felt a desire to serve the Lord buasked Him to tell me how I was to serve. I just put it into His hands and really did nothing. About a month later I was asked to teach the badly neglected College/Career age Sunday School Class at the Church which I attend. I felt that this was something important but I was very busy with my schedule and really didn't have time to do it. So I declined saying that I really would like to but "maybe some other time". The Sunday School Superintendent said that he understood and we hung up and I thought that was that. Within 8 hours I was having violent back spasms to the point I couldn't stand. They were muscle related and moved daily around my back. I went to a doctor and he could find nothing wrong. Then I realized that possibly God was talking to me and basically saying, "You asked to serve and I provide then you refuse? My Sunday School Class is going on its third year and I have become the Sunday School Superintendent as well as the Christian Education Chairman. God in His infinite wisdom knew that this was the time and I was to take that position. Skeptics call this a "coincidence" as 1 Corinthians chapters 1 and 2 talks about. But there is no doubt in my mind that God uses any means He feels warranted to speak to anyone He choses and this was His way of firmly speaking to me. God speaks in what is known in the Christian buzzwords as "Christian coincidences". And I'm trying to listen.
