	OK, guys, I'm a programmer.  There, I admitted it.  But I only said
it to you guys because you respect that title.  To normal (read: non-UNIX)
people, I say, "I'm in computers", or, if I think they can handle it, "I'm
a UNIX Systems Administrator".  I have also been known to use the buzzwords
"Systems Programmer" and "Systems Analyst".
	I sympathize with all of *US* who are embarassed to call ourselves
simply "programmers", but let me explain MY side of the story.  Here in the
New York Metro. Area (HUB OF THE UNIVERSE), we have these low-budget TV
commercials for places like "COMPUTER TRAINING INSTITUTE" (or whatever they
call themselves this week).  They advertise "Be a *COMPUTER PROGRAMMER* in
6 months!".
	So the reason I don't say "programmer" is that I fear that someone
will think I dropped out of high school, couldn't find a job, so I went to
"COMPUTER TRAINING INSTITUTE" for 6 months, and... voila!  Can anybody
relate to that?

COMPUTER TRAINING INSTITUTE is probably NOT a trademark of anything--I just
used it here because I can't think of the REAL names of these places...
