Hah! You keyboard wizards think you have it tough. My official title
is Hardware Design Engineer. Visions of nuts and bolts, right? One
percent of the adult population of the United States may know the 
difference between Hardware and Software. Maybe. Of course, I can get
more generic... " Oh, I'm an Electrical Engineer." " You mean, like,
you wire buildings?" " No, thats an Electrician, what I do ...".
Usually sends 'em off to the cost accountant three martinis down.
Then there are the truly interested folk who get to deal with
" Well, I specialize in the design of high accuracy analog circuitry
used in mixed signal ATE systems." Now there's a real conversation
brightener. I have been telling people of late that I'm just an aging
whiz kid who gets overpaid to play with neat stuff. If they persue the
issue, at least I know they have a sense of humor. 

Say, Miss would you pass the peanuts ...
