I did the same thing for the System Concepts Lab at Xerox PARC. I came up with three or four architects, a PhD in physics, a philosophy major, a music major, at least two mathematics majors, a graphic designer, and a couple whose majors I forget but know were not CS. Only one person (maybe one or two others, but I'm not sure) to my knownledge has a PhD in CS, and only a handful of others have undergrad majors in CS. ALL of these people are creative, bright, talented individuals. These are by far more important attributes than having a piece of paper with ``CS'' on it. -bob atkinson watmath!rgatkinson rgatkinson%waterloo.csnet rgatkinson%waterloo.csnet@csnet-relay.arpa
