I would have no problems staying home with the kids, as long as either I could be working while I was home, or I could work at night after my wife got home. (No, I'm not married -- this is hypothetical.) I just don't think I would feel right not earning a salary. Even if it was just a little something, like being a systems programmer for a college, or doing some independent consulting on a part-time basis, I'd still like to do some work for pay. However I wouldn't mind taking care of the kids when I'm home. -- It's like a jungle sometimes, it makes me wonder how I keep from goin' under.
