Though it was definitely not one of the best played games, any game ending on a field goal surely breeds some excitement. (As a where are they now, does anybody remember Jim O'Brien?) Also, if my memory is correct, wasn't this the game in which Mel Renfro of the Cowboys did/didn't tip the ball and John Mackey continue on for a TD? This controversy bred some excitement and caused a rule change later.
