Oh, I forgot, they do have a playoff football team, with a .500 record. Anyway, I am sure the Sabres will make the playoffs. The only question is how far they will go. In past years, the best playoff hockey could be seen by watching the Sabres in mid-season, then come playoff time they would peter out. This year, however, the Sabres have been struggling all season, up until last week. Since last weeks All Star game the Sabres have beaten arch rival Boston and the Oilers. The true test will come tonight when they play the Flyers. Hopefully though for fellow Sabres fans, what we are seeing is the usual mid-season peak starting at a better time so that come playoffs the Sabres will be playing playoff hockey. If thats the case, I feel they will go all the way to the finals. When the Sabres do hit their peak and get rolling, they are virtually unstoppable. If you think about it the Islanders won a few of their Stanley Cups merely because they peaked at the right time. They would play mediocre hockey through most of the season and then cruise through the playoffs. GO SABRES!! - Matt Farrell
