There is no doubt that Michigan has THE BEST guard tandem in the country, consisting of 6'3" sophomore Gary Grant and 6'5" junior Antoine Joubert. See, UM plays "Street" ball, unlike the teams in the ACC or other divisions, who play "wimpy" basketball. In the Big Ten you have to be aggressive in order to survive, and UM certainly is. These two guards are every coaches dream. I have been following UM basketball for about ten years and I have never seen a tandem like those two. When the game is tight these two love to get their hands on the ball because they know that they are good enough to handle it and they always have. They are THE BEST!!! Michigan has the best team in the country: 6'11" Roy Tarpley (Street and Smith's Player of the Year) 6'8" Butch Wade 6'6" Richard Rellford 6'5" Antoine Joubert 6'3" Gary Grant Subs: 6'9" Robert Henderson 6'1" Garde Thompson 6'7" Glen Rice 6'8" Mark Hughes 6'3" Billy Butts 6'9" Loy Vaught 6'11" J. P. Oosterbaan 6'6" Mike Griffin 6'2" Ron Gibas 6'9" Steve Stoyko (Offensive Hustler of the Year?) UM's subs would be starters on any other Division I team in the country! They are so good that it will be no surprise that on a warm spring night in April UM emerges as NCAA Champions!!! ihlpf!foz Bill Thompson
