Having just finished reading the book of "The Myth Makers" by Donald Cotton
(who wrote the original episode and also the episode and recently-published
book of "The Gunfighters"), I must praise it as THE best episode
novelization.  The book probably most resembles the episode "Marco Polo"
(the book of which I have not read) in that it involves a narrator
telling the details of what happened.  However, for "The Myth Makers,"
the narrator is none other than the poet Homer himself!  The book
is, to an extent, a takeoff on The Iliad, and the narration is
extremely funny.
