WHO board game (c) 1980 BBC TV. I have found it to be a very good game. It is a medium complexity, medium luck game which non DR. WHO fans can enjoy. In fact my friends I play with In PA. do not watch DR. WHO, but they bitch and moan if I don't bring the game with me when I visit. The game doesn't get into trivia or the sort, if that is wat you like, but it does utilize a lot of The Doctors powers (with jelly babies and all neet kinds of things to use). There are from two to six incarnations of the doctor (hence two to six players) who move around a board trying to build a Key of Chronos to get into the Domain of the Time Lords. Key parts are protected bye various "aliens" such as Daleks, Androids, Cybermen, etc. Those aliens also protect items which are used for strength, mobility, etc. When attacking aliens one rolls a dice (but don't worry, it isn't all chance) and, using various weapons, strengths, and tricks one has up one's sleaves one attempts to defeat the alien(s) and snatch his belongings. On a scale of one to ten for board games, I give DR WHO a NINE (though I must admit, the only other board game that comes close to matching DR WHO's rating is Cosmic Encounters, which I would give an eight.) I have nothing bad to say about the game, and the game is flexible in that one can create new aliens, new rules, new powers, etc with some blank game pieces that come with the set (although the instructions don't suggest keeping these pieces or using them for such purposes). Hope I don't mislead anyone. Enjoy. -- _______ /_______/| |[] | []|| Glenn H Robitaille |[] | []|| Bell Communication Research |[] | []|| (201) 699-4851 |[] | []|| (UUCP) ...!ihnp4!rruxo!glennr |[] | []|| |[] | []|| ___ ___ ___ ___ |[] | []|| (___) (___) (___) (___) /--------/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
