(The standard image translator, as installed in a Type 40, displays an image using the absolute value of the coordinates.) Certainly this would indicate that some form of contact with Gallifrey was not only possible, but in fact realized. The inconsistency is in the lack of explanation why E-space (having negative coordinates) is smaller than N-space. (Or are all the zero planes extremely large?) Jonathan E.
