View, CA Lines: 24 I am in the market for a large monitor/TV combination. I intend to use it both for recreational purposes, and to edit graphics on my PC. I require: o at least 25" diagonal screen o stereo TV o digital RGBI inputs (a PC-compatible plug would be nice) o minimal overscan (I really want zero) o very good resolution (shooting for 640x350 RGB, whatever I can get from NTSC) I would also like: o analog RGB inputs o digital effects, such as multiple windows for different channels o the usual accouterments: cable-ready, several inputs for VCR/laserdisk, wireless remote with mute The best that I've discovered so far is the Sony KV-25XBR. I'm concerned, however, that it may not have the best picture available. I'd like recommendations of other monitors that are suitable. Pointers to mail- order sources for these would also be appreciated. -- {hplabs,amdahl,3comvax}!bnrmtv!perkins --Henry Perkins
