Our primary machine is a VAX 750 running BSD. Both have eithernet cards. There is software incompatability here (we think). I suspect this is a problem that has been solved before and I'd like to hear about such solutions. I hope this isn't hopelessly niave but this is our first eithernet installation (up until now we've been using MICOM switches exclusively). Any advice on places/books to check out would also be most helpful. -- - Dave Fetrow { ihnp4, fluke, tektronix, uw-june }!uw-beaver!entropy!fetrow :UUCP entropy!fetrow@uw-june.arpa :ARPA fetrow@UWALOCKE :BITNET 74175,1724 :Compuserve
