By the way, how about net.people for a newsgroup?  That gives
neither sex a privileged position and perhaps forstalls
arguments about the ratio of men and women who ought to post to
it.  
Equal treatment might help, so long as we remain aware that it
IS equal, and not implicitely male.  

Does anyone have any other ideas?  Net.people is a bit
unspecific......
