After much thrashing around, mod.os now lives. The topic is, of
course, operating systems. Dave Mason and I will be splitting the
moderation duty. We intend to be very liberal about what is posted,
filtering out only multiple postings where a correct answer can be
verified, and the worst of the flameage (e.g., name-calling). No other
editing will be done. Initially, the newsgroup will not be in digest
format.

Submissions should be sent to lll-crg!mod-os.  Questions, complaints,
etc should be sent to lll-crg!mod-os-request.  The primary
connections to lll-crg are seismo, ihnp4, gymble, topaz, ll-xn,
zinfandel, qantel, and cuuxb.
