  Does anyone have information on firms providing a service of testing
  wafers to screen the functional die?  The scenario would be having
  the wafer fabricated at some foundry, shipping those wafers to the
  testing facility.  There, the non-functional die would be marked on
  the wafers and the wafers would be sent to the assembly facility;
  either back to the foundry or to another firm.

  Information on available services, both for testing and assembly,
  would be appreciated.  Please send responses either via net-news
