I`m posting this to the whole newsgroup, because I think it's of general
interest.  The 9000-star Yale Bright Star Catalog is available in
machine-readable form.  I have the following address for it:

The following info should be noted:
    1)  The document from which I got this address is circa 1979, and
        the address or any of the following information may have changed.
    2)  The catalog was available on magtape only (not floppy).
    3)  No price was given.  Do not expect the catalog to be free,
        however.
    4)  The data will consume about 1.8 megabytes of storage.
