Yes, it is amusing to watch at an autocross.  However, I have seen plenty
of rear-wheel drivers lift a front wheel (911 and 914 especially) going
into Big Bend at Lime Rock.  The 911 is so rear-heavy I might expect it,
but the 914 is fairly well balanced.  This is from watching from the flag
station at the end of the main straight.
