  comiserate with the joys and sorrows of owning an older European car.
  
  My saga includes :
    New Ignition wires (must dismantle fuel injection to replace)
    A/T downshift cable (became sticky - 6 hours labor to replace)
    Needs mech. valve adjustment (probably $300)
    and last but not least
      3 bent alloy wheels in 3-months (try dodging 4-ft wide potholes)

  on the happy side - even if I'm broke it drives like a charm!
