The Science museum in London has a very interesting aviation section,
including, if my memory serves me rightly, the original Vickers Vimy
bomber which Alcock and Brown used in the first nonstop trans-Atlantic
flight.

Also a Messershmit rocket interceptor amongst other interesting items.
