Thanks to all of you who responded to my
query about the Bow Street Runner, I mistakenly called,
"Blackthorne".  Indeed, it was "Blackstone", I was trying to remember.
Armed with this info, I will now try to find the books.  Thanks again.

As long as I'm posting this article, I might as well get in
my vote for continued book lists.  I find them
extremely useful--keep them coming.
