Does anyone have any good housing tips for any of these schools:

MIT
U of Illinois (at Champaign-Urbana)
Waterloo (CANADA)
Cornell

I will be selecting one of these schools for my Master's degree.
(Actually they have to select me first, but I want to get a jump on
this housing stuff.)   I reallly like to hear from you if you:

	-had a BAD landlord
	-had a GOOD landlord
	-lived in a great place
	-know of a place you wished you had lived
	-know which side of town is best to live in
	-lived in a group situation
	 (frat,dorm, co-op)
	-have any insider's hints
	-can give me cost ranges
	
I will be visiting most of these campuses in the near future and
would appreciate any info on good places to hang out and get an 
idea of what the campus/students are like.  Volunteers for tour
guides are also being accepted :-)

I'll summarize if anyone is interested, so send mail if you are able
to reach me.
