Anyone who has copies of THE SHADOW #1 should hang on to them. I went
through hell trying to get a copy. As I was busy at Boskone the weekend
the comic came out, I didn't have a chance to go to my comic shop until
Tuesday. By then, the shop and everyone else was completely sold out.
I hoped they'd restock by the next weekend but no such luck.
    
I finally managed to get a copy, and at cover price to boot. At any rate,
I found out what happened with it. It seems that the bulk of the print
run was damaged (a big tear in the back cover), which caused a lessening
of everyone's orders (or disallowed any re-orders). Basicly, every shop
had sold out within a day.    

I haven't gotten a chance to read it yet (I'm behind again), but I've
taken a quick skim and it looks good. I'm looking forward to reading it.
