At risk of libel I will claim that he suggested (Australian Prime Minister) Harold Holt was a chinese spy, then failed to offer any support of this theory. I gave up reading his books when I realised that the sources for one of his books was mostly interviews with less than a score of people, mostly working in one theatre of war, from which he generalised commentary about much of WW2. Perhaps he does have "other sources" but I wish he would tell me about them. Would someone like to correct me? Am I misjudging the man? -- x@prep.ai.mit.edu Disclaimer: I am not me.
