I have been informed of a modem made by Avatex (address unknown)
which is 103/212A compatible, supports the "AT" command set (H*y*s)
and does autoanswer and originate.  It is not a card, but an external
modem, and the cost is $75.

Does anyone have any experiences with either the company or this
particular model?
