The problems with running a play-by-email Go tourney are obvious, mostly related to the number of moves in a typical game. While preparing a write-up on how to play go, specifically for people playing go by email, it occured to me that a tourney on a small board would be workable. Either 9x9 or 13x13 would generate games that were a couple of months long, as opposed to the better part of a year. So, is anyone out there interested in playing in such a tourney? Anyone interested in running one, so I don't have to? Please reply by e-mail, and I'll either post a note saying that nothing is happening, or start working on starting the thing. Thanx,
