Easy sneezy, and when you return you have >38783827 score points before adding any other score points. Interesting version. Sorry, folks. This only works on whatever version of rogue this poor soul once had access to. In most versions, the arrow trap shoots a +1 arrow, and the darts disappear from dart traps. This can be duplicated on other versions to get +255 weapons and armor by using pools and "aquirement" scrolls. A version which allows you to do this most is Super Rogue 7.0. In most versions pools also affect staves by either "identifying" them or charging them as a staff of charging would. Most also affect rings, potions and scrolls similarly. If your version does not have anything such as a cursed scroll or blessed scroll, then the last statement does not apply. >Well, maybe it will help. It is a very well written article containing information pertaining to the unspecified version you describe. >hmm how about wheel@ut-sally? Nope. Our Usenet program tells us it's: wheel@utastro.UUCP, or in other words: utastro!wheel. There was an ommision in the PC versions of Rogue. The UNIX PC 7300 also has a version of Super Rogue 9.0 which the manuals call Version 1.3, ported from Super Rogue 9.0. Hope it helps! hou2e!ksl
