Texas, Astronomy, Austin, TX Lines: 21 Summary: an old but possibly helpful hint I havent played Rogue in ages, as, much to my dismay, the games were removed (or at least permanently locked up) from use, and rogue went with it. I do remember a bug in the game that resulted in a lot of winners, and a lot of points on the high score list. It was discovered by my brother, and spread within weeks to everyone on the system. In our version, arrows shot at you from traps. What you do is, pick up the arrow. Wield it or whatever. Look at it, occasionally you get a (if your version has the same bug) +38783827 (or something) arrow, and it kills *everything* within 2 blows max. Easy sneezy, and when you return you have 38783827 score points before adding any other score points. Well, maybe it will help. This is so easy, you might want to play the game for a few weeks to get really frustrated with it first... :-) Well, I hope this post isnt too bad, seeing as how it is my first Usenet post ever. Sorry, because of the same reasons, I wont be able to write my mail paths at the bottom. Maybe in the future! hmm how about wheel@ut-sally?
