Level 100 is nothing. Your player quite too early. At level 116, ALL LEVELS start wrapping aound on ALL 4 sides. This makes playing someone who relies on potions (Elf and Wizard) Much Different--Not necessarily harder (some are), but different. It also means that there will generally be welcoming committies around to say hi. From levels 200-230 or so, the 'players can go off-screen' applies to REGULAR, as well as treasure, levels. After 230 or so, every level can randomly be one of: Stun Hurt, or Normal. The bad thing is that the warning messages are incorrect; you have to check the ouch way at each level. Oh yea--when this last thing occurs, the auto-wrap stops. I wonder what happens around 450 or so. And if you find wizard to be a piece of cake, try valkery. And the others. Valk's the hardest; I prefer warrior. (Personal opinion) Oh yea--ANY treasure level can be 'off-screen'. But, if you only have one player, ...
