They kept showing the movie anyway, and so a lot of adlibbing took place. Someone was playing his cello--yes, someone really had brought his cello--for background music. At one point, they had a replacement bulb, so they then rewound it for us, with the film still showing. This included the scene where Brookie jumped up and down and broke the bed. On the reply a lot of people were shouting "Oh no!" But then the sound track broke again. They kept going. When she and the photo- grapher got married, and somebody was taking information down first, some one shouted "Father's name?"
