How about idiots who stop their pickup truck or van ( they are always in a pickup truck or van, which is, not surprisingly, battered ) six feet past the line while waiting for the green light so they can turn left? This makes it impossible for someone trying to turn right to see the traffic coming from the left (this gripe is void where right turns on a red are prohibited). It also interferes with assholes making left turns from the right who feel the need to use the lane currently occupied by the battered van (this gripe is void where there is a median strip beside the van). ( If you're as confused as I am, picture this: The van is going north, turning west, 'someone' is going N, turning E, 'asshole' is going W, turning South. Light is green E-W. Thank you, I see it now). Any similarities between the above opinions and the opinions of any real person, living or dead, are purely coincidental. Greg Smith - U of T
