They must have revised the traffic regulations since the last time I went to
Canada.  Well, I will admit that it's been a number of years.  Anyway...

Waitasec... the last time I saw a car in the U.S. with Ontario plates...

I don't know.

Where was I?  Oh, yes - wierd vehicle codes.

Here in the U.S. (For those of you in Canada who haven't been here for a
while) they are equipping the cars with red or yellow taillights that start
to flash when the driver is planning to make a turn (or is halfway through
the turn for some fools), and often continue to flash for several miles.  In
other words, here in the U.S. a flashing red or yellow light on the left hand
side of the car is a left turn signal.  (They put similar lights on the right
side of the car, but we won't discuss that here.)

I'm looking forward to going to Canada soon and seeing all the pretty green
taillights.
