I have lots of trouble with lactose, but can eat hard cheese and milk in things that are cooked, like baked goods. recently I met a fellow who really is allergic to milk, specifically to sodium caseinate (sp.?) which is the basic protein in milk. Whereas as I do things like throw up when I drink milk, he breaks out in a rash, his eyes water, etc (an histemic reaction). The funny thing is that we are both very pale, blonde and blue-eyed. -- jcpatilla ..{seismo,allegra}!umcp-cs!aplcen!osiris!jcp Look for beauty in all things; let the fountains of delight refresh your heart.
