Each time I've purchased contacts (1 pr. soft, 1pr. extended wear and 1 pair colored, also soft) I was told at the time that they'd only last from 9 - 18 mos. For some reason, mine last longer. I've had my present lenses for almost 2 years. I'll probably replace them this summer just because. Soft lenses, unfortunately, just don't last long. Extended wear, even less.
