I've had the same problems that you've had with AppleWorks. Seems like APPLE wasn't smart enough or thought that us USERS didn't need it.

SOLUTION-- Use APPLEWRITER....maybe they want us to buy both programs..
Good marketing 'eh......?? 

Some day Apple will realize that Apple // users make up most of the sales and can't force to the "MAC"...
