Since you mentioned UUENCODE/DECODE as examples of niftitude, perhaps
someone could implement those programs in Action!.  Thus enabling
the encoding by an already accepted (semi)standard.  

Note:  UUENCODE/DECODE is currently only on UN-X machines (as far
as I know....we do NOT have it here on my VMS machine).  But if it
is written in C, and someone supplies the source, it can be compiled
and implemented on almost any machine.....
