Does anybody know how to use the new EPSON LQ800 (24 pin) with
the 520ST in graphics mode (like a screen dump from the OS).
THe LQ800 works fine in text mode, but I get nothing but garbage
when I try to send graphics. The basic problem is that the 24
wire head needs 3 times the information. I know that there is a way
to default the LQ800 to regular FX80 graphics codes but I haven't
figured out how yet. I have tried sending ESC L and ESC Y befor the
dump but this didn't work.  I have called EPSON but they don't
seem to know either. How do I know that this is possible? I have
seen it done at a store, but since I didn't buy the ST at this particular
store, they weren't willing to tell me how to do it. Also,
my phone numbers for Atari don't seem to work any more.
Does anyone have a phone number that actually gets answered.
(tape recorders don't count)
