The only reason I can think of is that they love selling those $500 external drives, and don't give a #$% about convenience, desk space, and the like. By the way, the service spare price for a double sided Sony is around $325. Anyone know where to buy them at a more reasonable price? I understand that you can upgrade your 400K external for the price of an 800K drive and a few drilled holes. Does the IWM has the ability to deal with more than 2 floppies? It obviouly can deal with daisy chained HD20s; how can you daisy chain floppies?
